Resin Underpinning

Subsidence occurs when the sub-soils beneath the footings can no longer support the weight of the foundations.

Poor design ( didn’t go deep enough ), or washout / softening from leaking drains or flooding are common causes of subsidence.

D & A Hogarth inject an expanding polyurethane resin beneath the footings, filling voids, consolidating and strengthening the sub soils to provide sufficient bearing pressure to support the foundation loads.

We can continue to inject and where possible, lift the property back to it’s original datum. We pre and post test the sub soils to identify the treatment depth and confirm the sufficient increase in bearing pressure.

The project is completed in days with minimal mess and disruption without the need for any digging and comes with a ten year guarantee.
